Hoek van Holland lies at the mouth of the Nieuwe Waterweg and is part of the municipality of Rotterdam, but the village borders directly on Westland. The village has many terraced houses with a narrow staircase to the upper floor; towards the beach and the Berghaven you will find apartments. In the beach season the roads to the coast are busy and a spot for the moving truck is not a given.
